about me

I’ve been designing for the web for over 20 years, and at heart I’m a designer first and foremost. I love creating attractive, thoughtful experiences that actually work—not just look good on a screen.

I’m fluent in HTML and CSS, know my way around JavaScript, and have spent more than 16 years managing and evolving two large e-commerce websites. Over the years I’ve designed everything from small brochure sites to full-scale platforms, including online learning courses. I’m comfortable in the Adobe Creative Suite , and I’ve handled everything from web and graphic design to video production.

On the marketing side, I understand SEO best practices, analytics, remarketing and geofencing campaigns, and I’ve created plenty of social media content and email marketing campaigns that actually get opened.

Outside of work, I love traveling with my wife and hanging out with our two excellent cats, Otis and Lucy. I’m a musician—I play guitar and spent time as a drummer in a band. When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me cooking, checking out art museums, going to concerts, or catching a great play.
